Phaphamani Home Based Care, a registered NGO started in 1997, strives to provide quality services to the Kabokweni Community by caring for the sick in their homes especially those affected by TB and HIV/AIDS and their families, providing voluntary counseling and testing, ongoing counseling for people living with TB, HIV and AIDS and their families, educating the community to prevent further spread of disease to prevent or limit number of people contacting TB, HIV and AIDS.

​Phaphamani Home Based Care over the years has achieved the following:

• Raised awareness and educated the community on TB and HIV/AIDS

• Identified and traced TB patients defaulters

• Provided DOT support to TB patients to ensure adherence to treatment

• Encouraged community to a healthy life style through HCT campaigns

• Identified TB suspects through screening of patients and TB contacts
